Hey everyone,
Almost an hour ago I was just walking happily in the city center when suddenly disturbed by an alarm sound coming out of my pocket, it was my phone screaming it was lost or stolen.
After I entered my avast pin, it disappeared but a few minutes later I received an whatsapp message from a friend saying he received the following message from me: The sender of this SMS has requested that we send you a new Avast PIN. The new Pin is ...... and is valid for up to 30 minutes.
The problem here is that I didn't command anything, neither on my phone nor my pc, and that these things happened randomly.
This of course is not something I want to have happening again as it is quite embarrassing to have your phone screaming that it is stolen when walking in the city center.
I am a premium user and am worried that my account might have been hacked.
What should I do?
