Tried it, very cpu heavy slowed my system to a crawl but did not interfere with Avast.  I'll wait for the next update.  Having said that it may be my system configuration that slows it, as some antispy progs don't play nice with me but others appear to have no problems

I tried it and in my opinion right now it is more of a resource hog then Norton Internet Security.

I believe that the total solutions software is not always the best way to go. For example: When I got my new notebook it came with Norton Internet Security 2005 with a 60 day subscription. I got rid of it so I could download other programs that do basically the same thing but do not use up as much resources. But maybe Norton is not a great example since it is such a resource hog.

There have also been reports in newsletters, etc. that some people when they decide to get rid of it they have trouble uninstalling it.

Personally I'm in no hurry to be an unpaid beta tester for MS.

I think total solutions are for common users, just that.
They don't want to worry, configure, learn... No rules, no help files, no forums...
So, they keep what they get, the preinstalled applications.
Windows Care will be one more of them.
