Every time I run a scan in Scan results , C:\Documents and settings\all users, These four things show up with ( UNABLE TO SCAN Ar ) 1. sbRecovery.Ini  2. sb recovery.Reg 3. Iolo System Mechanic 5 Unable to scan. 4. Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE unable to scan. I am new to your fab program so When I downloaded it I may have set it up wrong. Please any help would really be thanked. I am realitively new to PCs and want everything to work right. I downloaded it on Friday Dec 2,2005 at 2:40PM. Everyone have a safe an happy holiday season, and dont eat to much. Thanks again JJ

Gemini Man, everything is ok with unable to scan of 1. sbRecovery.IniĀ  2. sb recovery.Reg 3. Iolo System Mechanic 4. Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE.
Some programs protect their files into passwords. avast just can't scan them because don't know the password.
But they're safe, files into password protected files will be scanned by avast when unpacked  ;)

How does one go about "unpacking" those files? If we didn't give the file password protection, who did?

Happy Holidays, Everyone!

How does one go about "unpacking" those files?
If we didn't give the file password protection, who did?
The program itself, the one which packed them.
For instance, SpyBot protect their signature files (as avast too) to not be detected as infected by other programs.
So, it packs and it unpacks, internally.
