Windows 7 does not recognize Avast Endpoint Protection Suite
« on: February 04, 2016, 04:02:39 PM »
We are running a Windows domain network and using Avast Enpoint Protection Suite with Small Office Administration Console.  Most of our computers are running Windows 7.

Recently I noticed that periodically I would have a computer(s) show in the Windows Action Center that there is no antivirus software installed. I now have at least 6 of my machines showing this alert.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall with no luck.  I have checked the settings and all shields are active and the program is showing that everything is secured.

How can I make Windows 7 recognize that Avast is installed?

Hello,

I have the same problem. Is there any solution to this issue?

Thanks!

I have the same problem after updating the clients to 8.0.1606, using SOA.
I solved the problem on two clients by starting the client in safe mode, using avastclear.exe to remove avast! and reinstall it using the SOA.
But I can't be bothered to perform this procedure all the clients on the network!
