Unable to scan: Specified file cannot be found
« on: December 26, 2005, 11:18:24 PM »
Some user scanned HDD with avast! and got this:

"Unable to scan: Navedene datoteke ni mogoce najti" translated in english means "Unable to scan: Specified file cannot be found"

Now thing that wonders me is how could it detected those files if they aren't there?
Something wrong with engine or error message itself?

Thx for help...

Strange... but the message can also mean that there's something wrong about the Chest itself (its folder, its index file, ...). Is it possible to move some other file (eicar, for example) to Chest?

He said that after reboot everything was fine and avast! found only 1 file which was later properly moved to Chest.
I doubt this helps to you at all, but i just couldn't leave the post unanswered...
