Avast is killing almost every file in git v2.7.3
« on: March 15, 2016, 11:50:25 PM »
I just upgraded to git v2.7.3 via chocolatey:

Code: [Select]
flashplayerplugin v21.0.0.182 is the latest version available based on your source(s).
You have git v2.7.2 installed. Version 2.7.3 is available based on your source(s).

git.install v2.7.3
 Downloading git.install 64 bit
   from 'https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/releases/download/v2.7.3.windows.1/Git-2.7.3-64-bit.exe'
 Installing git.install...
 git.install has been installed.
WARNUNG: Git installed - You may need to close and reopen your shell for PATH changes to take effect.
The upgrade of git.install was successful.

git v2.7.3
The upgrade of git was successful.

Avast is going nuts, seeing "Win64:Evo-gen [Susp.]" in almost every git file and keeps dismantling my install one-by-one.

I already reported a few of them as false alerts, hopefully this can be fixed soon.
