Exclusion not working

Hi,
I'm having some troubles with a file being put on quarantaine by avast even though its in a excluded path

Impacted file :


Exclusions :



Is this an issue with avast trucating the file path ?

I think you can't have spaces in the filename.  If you must have spaces, you may need to use quotes.

Notice the file path that was quarantined:  C:\PROGRA~1\SIDEEF~1...  it's the 8.3 filename and not the full path.

Try either the 8.3 name for the folder, or try:  "C:\Program Files\Side Effects Software\*"

Hi,

was that file moved to quarantine during scan or during file shield activity? Did you performed some scan?

Your paths are in a right form however, these exlusions are applicable only to file shield activity, not for scans (right now).
