Can't view any videos with this browser
« on: April 25, 2016, 04:19:32 AM »
After starting to use SafeZone, I can't view any videos. Java script is allowed to run for all sites and Adobe shockwave player shows as being enabled under plug-ins. If I go back to using google chrome browser or firefox, I can view videos. Any idea why I can't with avast SafeZone browser?

Using latest version of avast, 11.2.2261.  Usually just a blank screen, will sometimes say need to install flash player so I download adobe flash player (for opera and chromium ppapi) and still nothing. Using an old pc with WINXP 32 bit.

If I'm not mistaken, the SafeZone Browser comes with the Flash plugin.
Adobe has a test on their website to test.
Normally I would give you the link, but I'm on a tablet right now and not on one of my normal systems.
But Google > test flash or something like that and you should find it.
See what the test says.
If it says the Flash plugin is working, you should be able to play the movies without a problem.
If it says all is ok, try to play some youtube video's.
Do they work?
