License Invalid

after upgrading computers to a mac, i tried to use my license for the computer i'm currently on, my account online says i still have a valid license but it continuously says invalid.

Im not too sure what i could be doing wrong anyone have any suggestions?

You don't need a license, Avast Mac Security is free (except for business use, afaik).

Licenses are not cross platform.
Meaning that you can't use a license for a Windows product on another platform (e.g. Mac, IOs, Android etc).
