Advanced Disc Cleaner
« on: January 18, 2006, 01:30:35 PM »
I have been running both ADC and Avast Home Edition for quite some time without a problem. Until that is I received the latest update from Avast this morning.
As soon as it downloaded it informed me that ADC contained a trojan, Win32 Bifrose-AA. It is now impossible to run ADC unless I turn Avast off.
I have tried all the different options on Avast. I tried reinstalling ADC from a backup, [4.3 version]. I tried downloading the new version of ADC [4.4] and still get the same result.
I have run several other anti-malware programs and none of them are picking this up.
I would not want to be without either program but it appears that I can no longer run both together.
Any solution to this would be much appreciated.

The problem should be fixed in a while (by a VPS update).

If every software company reacted to problems as quick as you have just done computing would be a lot simpler.
Update installed, ADC reinstalled, all working. INCREDIBLE!!!
