Hey guys,
I'm a noob here so feel free to correct me should I make any mistakes, I'm always about being respectful to people who give so freely of their time. Reader's Digest version..My PC is a Gateway Win Home Premium 7 64 bit 4 gigs of RAM AMD Anthlon II x 2 with 2.80 Ghz. My C drive is 238 gb free of 687 gb. I don't "game" on it or use graphic intensive proggies. It's running fine in windows and even on AOL (I know you all hate AOL but I can't find my way around on Firefox or Chrome), but on Explorer, once I start browsing or opening a second window, it sounds like an F16 Jet Fighter, and it locks up, my mouse will become unresponsive and I get error messages asking me if I want to reload or quit out. It's running horribly. I'm not a total wingnut, I ran every antivirus, antimalware and antispyware at it known to man and it found a few things, but mostly innocuous tracking cookies. For the record, I did install and uninstall all the antivirus proggies after use, so it's not conflicting antivirus issues. If you'd kindly direct me to any reports you need or steps I might take would be so appreciated. I am permanently disabled, got run down by a postal truck on my Ninja, so sitting at my desktop for hours trying to solve this is basically torture, I'm so grateful for your time..
