Problem with Windows 7/What should I do?
« on: October 27, 2016, 02:10:03 PM »
Before installing windows 7 on my laptop I was using the windows 8.1 but my laptop was not so active. Right now I am using windows 7 and my laptop memory goes to an extreme level, then my system takes restart  at least two to three times for working normally.

Following are the configurations.

  • Windows 7 Service Pack 1
  • Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70Hz 2.40Hz
  • RAM: 4.00 GB
  • System type: 64 Bit OS

Please tell me what should I do?

Why did you go to Windows 7 when you originally had Windows 8.1 ???
Progressing to Windows 10 would have made sense to me. Windows 7 is going backwards. IMHO

Did you revert to Windows 7 or did you perform a clean installation ?
If it was a clean installation, did you install all latest drivers for the system right after installing Windows and before doing/installing anything else ?
