Question !
« on: December 05, 2016, 08:54:27 PM »
My good people, I've decided to migrate to the latest version of avast. Should I upgrade through the GUI or download avast clear tool and do a fresh one ?Also my AOS avast add on  is version 10 . Should I remove it from my browsers prior to it or it will update to the new version automatically ?
Thank you in advance.

Updating should be fine.
You can always do a clean installation in case it did not go as it should.

As it is part of avast, it will (or at least should) automatically upgrade.

If you do a clean reinstall it should be removed from the supported browsers. The new install would install them again, assuming that you want this to happen. If you don't want that, use the custom install and deselect the 'Security browser extension' option.
