So Avast automatically renewed my membership for a year, and charged me around 75$ after I only paid about 40$ or so last year. I immediately contacted them as this is money I need for bills and gift giving, and finally I got a somewhat quick reply considering it was Sunday(at least they'd replied with Agent Richard Srank, according to my open or pending ticket requests page). HOWEVER, despite saying I'd gotten a reply from this agent, it isn't anywhere to be seen on my ticket# reply page, nor is it anywhere in my messages or any type of notification? Can someone please assist me and help me find where I might see this agent's reply to my ticket? Also, how likely am I to receive my refund? I really don't want to get conned out of 75$ dollars I never agreed to pay at the time(I also don't ever remember choosing for auto renewal, despite what Avast probably got me to agree to in a Terms and Conditions or something). I'm hoping for a timely resolution because I really need this cash, and I find it funny how Avast was so quick to take money off of my card when it was added but is so slow to respond when I want my money back for a product I never even asked for or was asked if I wanted. Again, any help is very appreciated and the sooner the better. Thank you:)

The reply will be in your email.
Alternatively you can see your tickets through https://support.avast.com/support/tickets/new (if you are logged in to your account)

It's rather troubling to me that they assigned an agent to my ticket requesting a refund the day of payment and not only didn't send me the reply, but that they haven't refunded >:(

In fact, the only emails I've received from Avast after sending two tickets and cancelling my auto renewal are from replies from you, Eddy. Avast literally has sent me nothing else and it's getting upsetting. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to receive a refund in this particular case, and I'm starting to wonder how many other people have gone through an experience similar to mine. I'm also wondering why they haven't emailed me anything and if they are going to help me at all. All indication thus far are they will not, but I hope they prove me wrong. :'(

Well, that is already a mistake.
Each time you create a new ticket, you will be put back to the stack. (FiFo system).

The response will be where I told you, unless you have used another email address or spelled your email address wrong, and as you received a reply from Richard that last two are not the case.

That is unfortunate, I didn't know about the ticket system working that way. However, I promise there is no reply from Richard in my emails and if his reply is indeed on my account, please direct me to where. I have looked as thoroughly as I can and have yet to fnd it, but I can guarantee it's not in my email. My email isn't incorrect, misspelled, and I don't have an alternate email set up with Avast. I just want to find this reply.

Is there any way Richard can resend his reply to my email? ???

I've checked the tickets, and the email listed is correct for both of them, so either Richard didn't reply/ send to my email, or he made a mistake and didn't send to the correct email. Either way I'd like to see some amelioration to the situation asap.

I've reported this to A moderator. Just have a bit of patience and don't submit any more tickets. :)
