Believe it or not, they really can't.

As I said several times already, the data is ENCRYPTED.
Next to that, avast doesn't store anything that goes through the VPN, so there is nothing to show even if there is a court-order.

so what you are saying is that the FBI can't check where a person who is suspected in terror was surfing in the web if he is Avast's client....

They can if you leave traces of it on your own system, but that has nothing to do with avast.

If you want to hide, go live in a cave at least 5000 lightyears from the earth, without electricity, without flooding water, block the entrance, don't go outside, don't communicate with anyone, don't move, don't even breath...

okay.....that's why I wrote that I was "drunk" when I bought something impossible with good money.

There are some restrictions in the forums for Newbie forum members/users, it used to be 20 posts before you could use the PM function. I don't know if that is still the case, but it looks like it.
