I still have version 11.2.2262 installed and won't switch to a newer version until all the bugs have been fixed. The August version is by far the worst in a long time.

Where could I find the offline installer for version 11.2.2262?
Thanks

I hope that you have learnt some lessons this time. It seems to me that you are a 5 month company not existing for 25 years or so. It seems to me that your bosses have previously worked at an advertising company, not at Avast/AVG. Next time please don't act like freaks trying to rush an update as you will be executed if you don't deliver a buggy product in 1 second. And certainly don't call something which still has known issues a Release Candidate. I am sure that there would still be issues no matter how long the testing process is, but if you waited for a week more they would certainly be less and you would be more satisfied with a quality product than with a shiny new buggy one.

It is not that simple guys ;)

A major release ( date ) has to be planned in advance, because it has to be carefully coordinated with several Avast departments as well.
It will only been postponed if something seriously is wrong.
Not for some bugs.

Anyways Some minor bugs will be solved with future patches, I  solved my one issue I was having by trial and error, finally excluded the game directory in Behavior shield so I didn't  have to uninstall it or turn it off, and game loaded and ran fine finally, Game is Battlefield Hardline,  Gonna test more of my games tomorrow after some scheduled PC maintenance, (dust clean out), some file cleanup, backup, and such.

Probably will do a clean install on next patched version release, since I updated via GUI

You also need to realize that Avast has over 400 M. customers.
This is a support forum so you are more likely to hear complaints not successes.
The amount of complaints when you consider the total number of installs is very minimal.

I am sure that there is a planned release date, but the old version was good at protecting users and it would still protect them for one more week as it was doing a year or so. Or you find something special in the determined date like it is a lucky date and missing it will mean epic fail? I see your point but this date was not released to the public in general and no one was expecting or was going to feel angry at Avast if they delayed it for a little.  :)

You are absolutely right, but i think you can agree that there were known (not talking about unknown) issues from the beta which were not fixed neither in the release candidate (which is supposed to be error-free as it is after the beta and is a release candidate) nor for the release itself. And this was an important release which doesn't happen just about anytime. I just think that they should be even more pedantic and put the quality of the product above the marketing of it. Quality should speak for itself. Anyway hands down to the marketing team which again strives to save something which they could have not needed to save. This is my personal view and feelings. At least they are slowly going in the right direction.

@ liubomirwm,
You apparently have no conception of all the components that are part of a new release.
Unless there is a major problem, delaying a planned release simply isn't warranted.
This release also offered major increases in protection to all Avast users.

I wasn't able to use the new version on any machine because of a big problem that cripples the PC, blocking ... everything.
I can't uninstall it the normal way, it doesn't run, it doesn't work and it broke everything when installed.
I managed to uninstall it in Safe Mode but that's a huge problem. Without it I'm stuck with Windows Defender.

The only bright side is that... The UI seems to be cleaner. Even the color is weird, because I'm used to orange, not purple, for an Avast product. :)

I hope for an update to be able to install it again and hopefully... To work.

Your problem wasn't with Avast but with parts of the Comodo firewall.
Get rid of the dragon and Avast will work without problems. :)

Absolutely disagree! How can you blame Comodo when the problems started exactly with the last update of Avast? I've been using Comodo and Avast together for years with no problems. The real problem is that Avast team has not been testing new release thoroughly enough. On top of that, Comodo is no an marginal player but it is an established provider of security software. So I believe that Avast should pay more care to product testing in combination with commonly used firewall platforms and in case of problems they should find the solution, possibly in cooperation with Comodo, before releasing"this disaster".  :(

No... I didn't had the Dragon installed ever, just Comodo Firewall.
I also uninstalled Comodo because it was also an older version, but without any change. It still doesn't work.

I, also, had used Avast for years and years and it worked great itself and with Comodo, no problems whatsoever. Until now, when this version came out.
I don't know why, I hope an update to solve this...

That's the part f the dragon that's causing the problem. As already explained in another thread in which you posted your problem.
