Are we being protected against these adwares on Google Play? :

Or does Avast Mobile Security as a freemium solution consider AdMob and MoPub information gathering legit
and the other adware like credential stealers and skinner adware as PUP's they take no action on?

Please declare your position as Ad Network Detector app detects Avast Wifi Finder,  Avast Cleanup, Avast Battery Saver and Avast Mobile Security as on the AdMob ad network  and also on the MoPub ad network  (the freemium solution)  :o

We don't consider Google's ad network software to be malicious, so we don't warn our users about the presence of AdMob and MoPub, but we do provide some of this information under Privacy Advisor.

However, most of the AD frameworks related to the articles you have posted will be detected asap.

AD Frameworks that display any kind of advertisements outside of the scope of the host application should be considered as PUP. If they perform additionally malicious actions they could be also considered as TRJ.
