Blacklisting websites in Avast/SZ-2017
« on: March 20, 2017, 12:18:02 AM »
It was a fairly easy process with 2016 version, but now that I'm running 2017, I don't see how to do it. Please help. There is a website that I frequent (that won't work with adblocker) that always runs an annoying ad that I want to block. How do I block the domain of the annoying ad without using adblocker?

Hi,

You can't do it in SZB without adblocker. You need to write to Antivirus forum.

I think you can use Webshield - Site blocking

Copy the URL of an Add, and put it to the list.

You can find the list in AV -> Settings -> Components -> Webshield (customize) -> Site Blocking

Avast free antivirus has blocked access to https://school.novakidschool.com/ (Novakids site), saying that it is blacklisted.
