missed phishing? I am bothering you for a very important cause

I received an email yesterday inviting me to open a .dot file
running it through avast did nothing.
reports say my system is clean

which describes the attempt.

how come avast isnt seeing it?

No security program have 100% detection or zero false positives
If they did there would not be a malware problem
