Hi polonus,

Thank you for posting that link.  I didn't know the Arris router had a backdoor in the backdoor. I should get my new Arris router today.  What router should I use?

After I reset my network yesterday it showed my connection was public so I called Comcast, talked to a tech support person, told him my connection was showing public and told him I wanted it to be private.  He told me there was nothing to worry about and that he couldn't see my Internet.  Once again I told him I wanted a private connection he then told me to call Microsoft, which I didn't and somehow I got my connection set to private.  Some of these Comcast techs are dumber than me.

@Pondus,

The Asus router looks like a safer one than my Arris.  I'm not sure whether or not Comcast will let me use a different router but will call them today.

Thank you for posting the link/links.

Is their a bug in the Wi-Fi Inspector?   I've ran several scans today and some scans show no issues, then I run another scan and it shows an issue.

I would appreciate any reply's.

Thank you.

Probably because it has Intel parts (chip) inside it.
