OK Eddy, in fairness to you that is true - but does not alter the fact that for 3 weeks I have been trying to get help from Avast after signing up to, but being unable to use, a trial upgrade. This is (as others have reported) not a one off issue.
I have only ever had one reply from Avast, and that was not recent. That reply basically said 'You are from UK, we are happy in selling to the UK but do not correspond further'.
Again, I have had to cancel a trial, as the only thing it did when I downloaded it, was to crash the rest of Avast, including the free AV, which I then had to re-install while awaiting an explanation from Avast - one that I was certain would never arrive.
It makes me wonder whether the UK is just something Avast wishes would go away.
