RTL - ‘Unable to start driver for hpoipm07.exe’
« on: April 07, 2006, 08:38:56 PM »
With avast! in use, I occasionally get the message in the subject of this topic.  This has always been the case since I installed avast! in September of 2004.  I just click OK, in the RTL-box, or click the 'X' in the upper-right corner of that box, and everything seems fine.  Does anyone have a solution for this very minor problem?

HPOIPM07.EXEis a process installed alongside HP Printers and provides additional configuration options for these devices. This program is non-essential process to the running of the system, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.
Remember, avast! only scans a program. It doesn't block it.
