Avast appearance problem
« on: April 11, 2006, 10:03:29 AM »
I'm running Ubuntu 5.10.  I've installed avast and both variations of the download install and run fine (archive and rpm).  Unfortunatly the text is nearly impossible to read.  I'm not sure what theme it's trying to use.  I've fiddled with gtk settings but that doesn't correct the problem.

I also get 2 errors at start up which I don't understand and thus don't know how to correct:

(process:11051): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by Xlib
(process:11051): Gdk-WARNING **: can not set locale modifiers

This could be the cause of the problem or it could be just be that avast is using something other than gtk for it's user interface.  I've attached a picture of the antivius panel to give a better idea of what I'm describing.
