Alerts settings has not yet evolved: only SMTP,MAPI,winpopup  (oh! and printer)
can you add SMS notification? curl request https, or post method...

Well, you can use the mail alert for it.
Send the alert to a mail client that automatically forward it to you as a SMS.

mail to sms?!. long time Gmail not sent SMS to notify.
