won't accept activation code

I just purchased Avast Internet Security for my 3 computers. Two were already running the free version. The computer on which I made the purchase (Win 8.1)  automatically updated the program to the full version. The other computer will not accept the activation code no matter how many times I enter it. It keeps telling me I only have 29 days left in the trial and gives a totally different code.

I know I am entering the correct code since I cut and paste it directly from the letter I received.

I am baffled as to why the second computer (Windows 10) is not accepting the code.

I was wondering if someone could enlighten me. Thank you.

Please ignore this message. I left the other computer just sitting there while I tried to find a solution. After posting this message, I tried entering the code again for probably the 12th time, and this time it suddenly accepted it!

Go figure! Computers!
