curious.............i just downloaded the 4.7 and on internet mail the timeout is unchecked(i have to check it for my pop3 account to work)what were the changes in 4.7???????

I believe the avast timeout is now meant to be in tune with the email program timeout delay so you would see your email programs timeout and not avast's time out warning.

A good place to start on the change log of avast http://www.avast.com/eng/av4_revision_history.html.

You might want to edit your Subject Title as we haven quite reached version 7 yet ;D
