Multiple devices-pro not working on some

I recently upgraded to mobile security/anti-theft from the free anti-theft app. I removed the free version and paid for the pro mobile security app. I just purchased two new phones for my kids and deleted the two old ones from my account. The two new phones and one old one show that anti-theft is activated but they have functions greyed out on the account status page. I cannot connect to them for location services, pictures, calls, data etc... I installed using google play with the email account registered to Avast but then removed it after setting up anti-theft so the kids could have their own email on the phone and not mine. Are there any steps I am missing or do I need to leave my google email active? Any help is appreciated. My phone and my tablet function properly on the account. Thank you.

The devices need to be connected to the same Google account.
