New Beta version 17.6.2308

For me, it was installed when I decided to run it in order to create the video
That's why it now shows up in Programs and Features.

I hadn't tried to run it from the UI - as I mentioned - Given this was meant to be a stand alone installation of Avast Cleanup Premium I didn't check the Performance > Cleanup option. So no default installation.

new beta version 17.6.2308 is released.

What's new
- Anti-phishing in Web Shield - Web Shield now blocks Phishing sites even without the browser plugin Avast Online Security installed in the browser
- New Cleanup Premium - Cleanup is now standalone application, in beta you can use it even without license
- New detection dialogues also for Behavioral Shield
- Improved flow of all detection dialogues
- Fixed animation of systray icon

Known issues
- Active Game Mode does not suspend Avast pop-up dialogues
- Avast service random crashes
- Cleanup installation sometimes does not work on Windows 10

Anyone able to see what the Threat Alerts look like?  on my Test System Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, only displays after I click on eicar.com download link, page cannot be displayed lol, and no alert from Avast 17.6.2308 at all

Avast Threat alert never displays, or if it does it's very late on that machine

Yeah doesn't work for some reason on that Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 32bit system,  just dispalys page cannot be displayed, as well as for eicar.com download,  my 8 core system working fine I think, but I don't run betas on that machine most of the time, though I am planning System clean install when Fall Creators update comes out, so I guess I could swap test machines if i wanted to


Specs of that system is

Acer Revo R 1600
Single Core Atom 1.6ghz
2gb of ram
160gb 5400 rpm hard drive (hard drive screwed into motherboard on this model, hardware to upgrade than regular systems)

Normally on my 8 Core system 90 percent of the time

Quad Core once in a while

When I go to http://web-shield-test.avast.com/ in Google Chrome, I see the following:

Same with Internet Explorer 11 on that particular machine, i'll work on getting it setup on the 8 Core Desktop system later today or early tomorrow, as hard to test on that little WIndows 7 System


I think it's just that little nettop PC just isn't powerful enough to do the alerts or such

On firefox, no problem on the web shield alert, other than it is still centre screen and massive, even at its smallest size, see details obviously makes it even larger.

A point of note that the avast tray icon, context menu 'Show last popup message' doesn't work.

Yeah the alerts for sure on 17.6 versions very massive even at smallest size, old alerts the little Atom PC had no trouble showing those, but these newer ones it struggles to even show if it shows them at all, most of the time just says Page cannot be displayed lol
