Asyn, like most of the others on the forum are avast users just like yourself (and myself), but they try to help where they can and try to push things forward also.
Avast team members will have 'Avast Team' in the information to the left of their posts.
Ordinarily you should have received an automated email response first of all, support tickets can take 1-5 business days, but dependant on the number of tickets, it could be longer.
In the automated email, I suspect there should be a URL link back to your Support Ticket and possibly the support ticket ID number. I have never had to use the support ticket system so I can't speak from personal experience.
Did you receive an automated email after creating the support ticket and what information did it contain ?
