secureline VPN MAC periodically does not work

Hi all,

I would like to check up with the community. I use Avast Secureline VPN since a couple of years. Occasionally, the VPN does not work for a couple of days or sometimes even a week or two. The message is that VPN gets connected, but thereafter there is just not any IP dress received. As a result there is no internet communication possible. Disconnecting immediately allows any internet program to work. I have reinstalled license, activation code, did clean reinstall, etc. Nothing works.

Does anyone experience the same problem? If so, was there any trick that was usable to fix the problem? Thanks already for your reply.

Avast has hidden the possibility to file a ticket very deeply. I have filed a ticket in the past but never received a reaction. I filed a ticket this time as well but up to now I did not receive an answer yet.
