What is UI Failed to Load?
« on: December 10, 2017, 07:47:25 PM »
I installed a new ssd with fresh Windows 10 pro. I was able to install Avast Internet Security and activate it on the computer fine with my license key. But for whatever reason, once in a while Avast will stop working with the error "UI Failed to Load" and it appears to be coming from the antivirus service. It gives me the option to restart it, it temporarily fixes it but the error happens again consistently.

I've tried repairing it, reinstalling Avast, but nothing seems to work. Avast was working fine for me for several months up to until now. My subscription expires in under a little 3 months. Don't think I will be renewing my subscription now...

I have the same problem since I have installed Avast Internet Security on my Dell XPS 13. I have Windows 10 Home on it.

My Avast is turning off every 3 to 5 minutes. It is very upsetting because my sister has no problem with the free avast she installed on her Dell XPS 15 with Windows 10 Home she bought the same time I did. I have my subscription still active for about 1 year more and that's frustrating that the paid version is collapsing although free one is functional.

I have tried various solutions found online including clear re-installs and setting Remote Desktop Services to Automatic. Nothing has changed. Just now I tried again following the steps here and the situation remains unchanged.
