A list of known and still not fixed bugs would be really fine, bu who can and will make it?
In fact, there is such a list, but it is only available for the Avast staff.
So sorry.
Nothing to be sorry for. They are the ones that need to fix what ever problems currently exist.
Those problems will also vary from user to user depending on their individual setups.

Personally I feel that outstanding bugs should be known, how else are beta testers to know what the hell is going on.  This is just one of the reasons why I have stopped beta testing, you never know from one to the next what you are going to test.

That's what I meant and I stopped it, too.

Driver updater is back. The most dangerous part of this program! Although is not installed by default, is offered trough Avast UI and cannot be removed from UI in components.
Why is driver updater part of Antivirus program? Installing wrong driver may cause PC not work anymore so in that case is worse then malware.

Unexperienced users will install it, they will say why not if my PC will be more stable (confusing title). That is completely wrong.

Please remove this thing from Antivirus also with safeprice plugin and other crap. Thank you!

Driver updater has been there for a while already. Uninstall it via Programs and Features if you opt to try it.

I have not installed this thing in my PC. If you have installed driver updater, you will have it untill you uninstall and you cannot know if is still offered by Avast or not. This thing appeared first time some months ago and was removed during one day. But now is back.

I've never seen it removed from when it was first introduced.
I've complained about it but, ultimately it's Avast's decision.

Because you installed this thing. I also do clean install each time new version arrive and until today there was no driver updater.

No, I never installed it. I complained about it since it was clearly a payed product but wasn't marked as such.

When ever I install any program, I usually select "Custom Install" .. That way you can select what you want or need and stop dumb things like creating a new desktop icon when I already have one. Or in some programs making sure "Bundleware" does not get installed.
Dell Dimension 8200 P4 1.8Ghz Windows XP PRO SP3

You can't unselect this Component. It isn't listed in the items to unselect.  :(
Technically, it doesn't install unless you select it in the listed Components. It's listed under Performance once you finish installing Avast.

Yes, it is listed under Performance like you said. But I just checked it and it shows an option there to "Install Now" ... So it is not installed at this time.

I think that's what I said. :)
I also said that you can't unselect this item in a custom install since it is nowhere to be found.
It only shows up after the install is finished.
It also isn't marked with the red lock to indicate a paid item even after you've checked it out.  :(

You can't deselect what isn't on the list of components during the installation and there are many of those. Such as the components in paid versions of avast.

The point being what is this here for, essentially in the hope that a user will be persuaded to click it and perhaps buy it.  My concern is any element there being used as bait in any scan you might run (Smart Scan), cleanup being another.
