JS:Cryptonight[Tri] - Windows 7
« on: January 21, 2018, 11:54:38 AM »
Hello.
I am using Windows 7 and Google Chrome.
And very often this threat comes up
JS:Cryptonight[Tri]
I am attaching a print screen.
I have done a full virus can, but does not find anything.
How can I remove this threat.

Hello,

Avast does not have a domain named local.avast.com. That means your computer resolves that address to a malicious server that (in this case) attempts to inejct a crypto-currency miner. It might be caused by an entry in c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts or there is a malicious DNS server configured on your computer or your router.

Jiri
