Avast for Business Behavior Shield blocking legitimate file
« on: January 29, 2018, 08:57:28 PM »
Hi there.

We are using Lifesize Cloud for our video conferencing needs.  The Windows desktop app installs in the individual user's AppData folder, unfortunately (for example, C:\Users\test.user\AppData\Local\lifesize_app\Update.exe).  Avast's Behavior Shield is blocking the Update.exe file.  I have tried all sorts of wildcard combinations based on other threads I've found on here but to no avail.  The only thing that works is adding the exact path, but with hundreds of users this would be time prohibitive.  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can use the Avast wildcards to excluse the Update.exe file based on each user's AppData folder?

Thanks!

Have you tried "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\lifesize_app\Update.exe" ?
