Dumb question regarding File Shield exclusions
« on: February 19, 2018, 01:26:57 AM »
If I enter an exclusion as "C:\Users\username\Documents\some folder\*" does it also exclude subfolders? Or do they have to be entered individually?

Whilst you don't require the "speech quotes" in the exclusion, everything below the ...\some folder\* is excluded which is why you have to take care when using wildcard symbol *.

It would only be dumb if you hadn't asked a question that you weren't clear about the answer.
