Avast is interrupting too much
« on: March 01, 2018, 03:09:08 PM »
I use Avast Mobile Security  Version 6.9.3-317196-3a2f7f5
My phone is running on Android 7.0

For a many months now, when I have google play do updates, avast constantly prompts me for my pin/fingerprint. It interrupts whatever I am doing for this, with no indication of what i am authorizing. I NEED THIS TO STOP. Please tell me how to get rid of this ridiculous annoyance.

Do you have App Lock enabled? I'm wondering if you have App Lock enabled on the Google Play app, requiring it to be "unlocked" every time.

Hi, you can disable the App Lock. Or, you can just try to adjust the feature's timeout period (in Menu--Settings--App Locking timeout). I hope it helps.

I have 6 apps locked, and one of them is Avast. None of the locked apps are Google Play.
