MacOS:Spigot-AY [PUP]
« on: May 26, 2018, 11:22:12 AM »
Spigot keeps on popping up as an unwanted program. I have tried running the scan multiple times and nothing has worked. I have gone to my extensions and nothing seems out of the ordinary. The search engine is duckduckgo (I chose that). I also have tried deleting launch files that were out of the ordinary and that didn't change anything (except for how often avast detected Spigot). Is there anything else I can do? The location always is in /users/me/library/applicationsupport/google/chrome/default

FIXED: I just deleted all of my chrome data and reinstalled it. I also found there was some files in my keychain access that were linked back to Spigot so I deleted them. Now I don't have the alert anymore.
