ADNM causes lsass.exe to use all my CPU
« on: July 07, 2006, 07:36:45 PM »
Many  times, my ADNM server's CPU is spiked up to 100%, most of it by the lsass.exe process.  As soon as I stop the Avast Management Server service though, my CPU usage drops back down between 0% and 5%.  While my CPU is spiked, I can't use the Management Console since the "Refresh" menu option times out all the time.

Hmm, your saying lsass.exe? Strange indeed... Seems like some sort of authorization loop (lsass usually handles logons/authorization).

Isn't there anything suspicious in the Windows Event Log?
Also, is it only lsass.exe that takes up the CPU, or is it another process as well? (I mean, if you sort the process list according to CPU usage, which process is the 2nd?)

Thanks
