Some perhaps unnecessary specs: MacBook Pro Mid 2012, 10.13.6 High Sierra.
Hi all. So, for the past few weeks, I have been encountering a persistent issue with a file that Avast identities as "MacOS:Spigot-AY [PUP]", the supposed location being "/Users/BriWizzle/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/.com.google.Chrome.PYC2mC". However, upon further inspection, I can't locate it inside of the folder. I've scanned with Malwarebytes also and it fails to detect anything at all. I've tried a reinstall of Chrome to no avail.
Would really appreciate some advice in how to get rid of this, thank you.
