I'm not entirely sure it has been completely removed, from memory it was only available in certain instances.  A long time ago there was no exclusion in alert windows to avoid accidental exclusion of malware.

It would have been handy if you:
1.  Said what the program was and why it was detected (e.g. the malware name, etc.).
2.  Attached a screen of the avast alert.
3.  You don't say what the version number is of Avast Premier.
4.  There is nothing to stop manually adding an exclusion at your own risk.

You could also send it to virustotal.com and have it manually scanned by multiple AVs.
There is NO NEED TO SHOUT.

Adding an exclusion is present when I tested it with an eicar sample.

You might well be angry, but keep the language down, there is no restrictions on age of those using these forums.

DavidR, I believe the poster was referring to this post:  https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=221009.msg1471478#msg1471478

Has not said he is a developer yet.

And yes, good etiquette will help in the long run.  No shouting please.

Keeping everything in one place also helps so people don't have to refer to multiple topics to gather information.
