Security threat that I can't seem to get rid of
« on: December 21, 2018, 08:42:46 PM »
I keep getting a repeated security threat from avast almost once or twice an hour. It says it blocked a malicious connection and under details it lists the process as //GLOBALROOTSystem so when I looked up on the forums it said to download and run an additional malware detection software. I did and quarantined a bunch of suspicious files but this threat alert still comes up. Nothing else is showing up on the avast scan or the scan of the other software. I also downloaded the recommended scanning software and attached my log files.
So what do I do next?

Malware expert is notified, it may take hours before he is online

Can you make screenshot of alert you are getting?
