Where can I get the last 4.8 offline update?

Hi,

This may have been answered somewhere previously, so I apologize if I'm asking a question that has already been answered, but I did search through some posts and didn't find the answer.

I need the last virus definition update (offline download file) for Avast 4.8; where can I find it?

As I understand it from what I recall on a google search, the last one was in 2017 or some such.  And I want the latest functional one, not one that will nag or try to force me to go to a newer version of the base program (5.x or later).

By the way, no need to tell me about it being expired or whatever, I just need that update.

It isn't available from Avast as it is no longer supported.

Even if you were to manage to get it from some file download site, the virus definition incremental updates aren't supported.  The downloading of the full virus database also isn't available for avast 4.

So the oldest supported version for download of the full virus database would be avast 5.  I'm not even sure that the incremental VPS updates would still work for avast 5.

Thank you for pointing me to that post, I originally missed it in my searches because I'm unfortunately not able to read any other languages so skipped over it, but that seems to be exactly what I need
