Serious bug with Avast Passwords app on Android

I am unable to sign into my Avast Passwords app on Android although i know my password is correct. I did notice however that when i enter a password and submit, it then sets the password as the account name which i am unable to change. The account name is not hidden so my password is now on fill display.
