Certificates and Thunderbird

Hi,

How do I do this https://support.avast.com/en-us/article/Troubleshoot-invalid-email-certificate, fix the SSL errors and export a certificate with the new version of avast?

thank you, I followed it, imported it into TB, but, getting this message "This certificate is already installed..."

- OS..? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP/Build..?) W10 64 bit, ver 1803, build 17134.523
- Other security related software installed..? malwarebytes
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..? none
- Which version of Thunderbird..? 65.0b4.

1. Download Avast Free Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions..!!)
3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
4. Reboot.

You need to delete the old certificate from Thunderbird's certificate manager first, then re-import.

removed them both, still getting that message. Closed and reopened TB, got the same thing.
