Photo Vault Pin changed during update??

Hi, I've recently updated my phone, and as part of the update to android apps were updated as well.
Well, the problem I'm having is that Avast Mobile Security lost all my photos in it's vault.
When I try to recover the vault it says that the pin is incorrect even though it's the same pin I was using before the update. Any ideas as to what to do?
