I am having trouble with installing the client via the on-prem management console. No matter what I do, it seems to be serving up version 18.5.2535 of the client software. I'm trying to move my network from Endpoint to Business. However, the 18.5.2535 version seems to have issues with resolving DNS and I can find this is common place based on some of the other posts in this forum. I have a couple of machines that I was able to get version 18.8.2546 with great difficulty.
Version 18.8.2546 has been out since November... why is the console serving up version 18.5.2535 still? How do I get it to serve the latest installer? Also, when I click download, it seems to be downloading it from Avast's servers. I have a local mirror... unclear why it is going out to Avast.
Secondly, I changed a policy to not require an unlock password for certain things such as checking for updates. That was over an hour ago... how long does it take the policy to come down to the clients?
Lastly, in the console when I check click the version number and check for console updates, it says I am up to date with verion 6.0.8. I believe I read in a forum post there is a version 6.0.14... Is that true? Thanks
EDIT: Even though the console was showing up to date with 6.0.8 when I checked for updates, I was able to find 6.0.14 and install it.... However after the upgrade, the console still serves up version 18.5.2535 of the client....
