Your backup identity mail not received

Hi
I wanted to try Avast Passwords and I installed in my mac. I have an Avast account. After installing it I wanted to enable backup and synchronization. I received a mail with subject "A new device wants to sync with your Avast Passwords" and that is the only mail I have received. The mail with subject "Your backup identity" is not to be found anywhere in my mailbox. I have also checked the spam and bin folders.
Do I need to do anything else in order to get this mail?

Hi Br Juan Carlos,

As you have only recently enabled the backup and synchronization, you will not receive the "Your backup identity" email.

This is because several months ago, we changed the backup email procedure for new users. In this new procedure, the functionality of the "Your backup identity" email is replaced by the "A new device wants to sync with your Avast Passwords" email. Attempting to synchronize a device will now prompt a "A new device..." email to be sent to the associated email address as part of the synchronization attempt.

What happens if you no longer have the email
"Your backup identity"
or the
"A new device wants to sync with your Avast Passwords" email.

and you no longer have a device that is connected to Backup and Sync?
how can i get my Backup wiped and start fresh?
