I recently started to get a pop up when starting excel 2007 "Stdole32.tlb" which at first I didnt really notice any detriment to the way excel worked but now I find lots of simple things I try to do such as delete rows or copy rows between work sheets dont work as it says I have insufficient resourses.
During my searches to find a solution to resolve this problem I have signed up for the Avast registry cleaner which has not helped the situation. I also found a link for a download called reimage plus which claims to be a fix for this issue but when I try to download, it keeps being blocked by Avast. It stops the dounload with a URL:Blacklist warning and a warning the download contains a trojan.
I have even bought a new external dvd drive and a new copy of office 2007 and uninstalled and reinstalled as I couldnt find the one I already had which actually made the situation worse as I've had to spend time resizing my speadsheet columns as my saved work all failed to load without being repaired and after the repair process, all my columns were back to default which has been time spent putting something back to how it was before instead of being spent on trying to find a fix for this stdole32 error.
Im out of ideas and I could really do with some help.

Reimage repair is a crap program / Snake Oil

I followed all those instructions already apart from the registry alterations which I started to go through but decided that messing with registry entries wasnt for me, at which point I tried to import the registry backup I created which failed at which point I decided to resort to forums rather than risk causing any more damage

After the reinstall of Office 2007, have you done all of the updates? There will be many.

OK, I've been brave and acually followed al the processes that involve making registry changes. After completing every stage and loading up excel after each step Iam still getting the stdole message =(
