AppLock not functioning properly

It seems like it is semi working. Sometimes its locking the apps other times its not and then comes back to lock them.

I have it set to 1min in my options, I've also deleted the cache, still same problem.

Any suggestions?

Hi, it is possible that some app keeps killing the Avast Mobile Security running in the background, then the app lock might be temporarily out of order. You can check https://dontkillmyapp.com, which is a nice summary of how various manufacturers use optimizing features. I hope it helps.
