Avast free won't activate

I cannot reactivate my Avast License.
I keep getting the popup to choose which version i want.
When i click on it  i get the message thank you for activating Avast Free antivirus.
Yet each time i boot up my computer i get a message telling me my license is expired and
which version i want to use.
On Avast also i get the message that i don't have a license and the red activate button.
I tried to reinstall Avast and activate it in multiple ways yet i cannot activate my license.
When i check my license i also get the message at License for this pc: Something went wrong try again.

I have the same problem. installed Avast free on my computer, my wives and son and none of them will activate no matter how many times you click on reactivate or restart computer, it just say its expired.

Make sure Avast isn't blocked by a firewall and try again.
